Given the dearth in coordinated, comprehensive, accessible and disaggregated data on the Socio-economic, political and development status relating to youth in the continent, diverse stakeholders have found it difficult in shaping their policy directions and programmes with a youth lens. Actual data’s and figures can easily draw out the visibility of the youth for effective evidence-based policy advocacy which would enable the issues of the youth gain efficiency status in National accounts.

Thus it has numerous contributions in advancing youth development across the continent by providing diverse stakeholders with adequate information on the status of the youth which potentially, will help to engage the youth in wide range of developmental processes both at local and regional levels.
